Allie Benson
As a certified massage therapist and graduate of the Indiana College of Bodywork Modalities, Allie is the founder, owner, and operator of the Massage & Healing Center. She found interest in natural health many years ago when she experienced health concerns of her own. After studying alternative and nutritional therapies over the years, she decided to train in therapeutic massage in order to offer help for others. Allie's interests are to help people suffering with chronic pain, stress, or repetitive use injuries. She has attended continuing educational classes specifically geared to chronic pain, repetitive injuries, breaking up scar tissue, neuromuscular problems, stretching techniques, and much more. She has helped people with issues such as plantar fasciatas, low back pain, sciatic, carpel tunnel, plus the toll of every day stress on our bodies. She also teaches what the client can do for themselves at home. Many people have told her she has truly found her calling in life. |
Richard Benson
An ordained minister in the Order of Melchezedek and graduate of Illinois State University, Richard decided in 2001 that it was time to change careers and directions in life and set a new mission for himself. That mission is to find and help people with problems. He turned to Massage Therapy to accomplish this and with his wife Allie, now shares this mission through their work at the Massage & Healing Center. Richard is trained in Deep Tissue Work, Swedish Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Chair Massage and Geriatric Massage and obtained his massage training at Indiana College of Bodywork Modalities in Castleton and the Healing Arts Accademy. Richard is also trained in the Muscle Release TechniqueSM and has had profoundly successful results in utilizing this technique with chronic and acute injuries. Now he can take these chronic pain sufferers to a pain free condition in a short period of time. He uses this technique to treat people with Carpal Tunel Syndrome, Tendinitis, Sciatica Syndrome, Knee Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Hammer Toes, and Fibromyalgia, just to mention a few. |

Lucy Liu
Lucy has been certified in deep tissue, swedish, sports, trigger point, reflexology and prenatal massage. She is a graduate of the Indiana Therapeutic Massage School. Lucy chose massage therapy for an occupation because she loves assisting and caring for others. |
Tammy Coers
Tammy graduated from the American College Massage School in Elkhart, Indiana. She is trained and certified in deep tissue and swedish massage, trigger points, passive/active stretching, pre natal massage as well as reflexology. She also has a diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from the Professional Career Dev! elopment Institute. Reiki certified, Tammy has a sincere desire to help people with natural therapies. |

Tracy Gough
Tracy has a B.S. in Exercise Sciences and Foods & Nutrition, which led to her interest in therapeutic massage. She received her massage certification in Personal Therapeutic Massage in 2000 in Wichita, Kansas. She also has training in reflexology, acupressure, and Muscle Release TechniqueSM. Fitness improves one's quality of life and she enjoys seeing someone reach their goals, but therapeutic massage fits right in the middle of that and can have instant results! Tracy likes meeting people, hearing their stories and especially helping relieve their ailments. |
Tessa Shelton
Tessa is a graduate from Professional Career Institute. She has completed 750 hours of therapeutic massage. She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, reflexology and stretching techniques. She believes that massage is a true healer. She enjoys giving massages because it helps decrease peoples pain level and feels that is one of the greatest gifts you can give someone. Tessa truly wants her clients to feel a difference after a massage session and to feel pain free. |

Valerie Johnson
Valerie is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College of Fort Wayne with an Associates degree in Therapeutic Massage. She obtained specialized certification in Sports and Injury Massage. Her specialities include deep tissue, swedish, lymphatic drainage, pre/post natal and geriatric massage. Valerie is also certified in Quantum touch energy work.
