What is Reiki?
Reiki is the ancient art of hands on healing. It has been around for centuries. It was recently (late 1800's) re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui. Dr. Usui is responsible for making Reiki accessible by anyone who chooses to seek it out.
A Reiki practitioner is simply a "tool" or "channel" for the universal life force energy, that we call Reiki. This universal life force energy can go by many other names as well, such as unconditional love, chi, God's love, etc.
Reiki energy can be used to support other healing methods and practices, including modern/traditional medicine. It is not meant to replace traditional medicine, but to enhance it.
Reiki will help your body to support itself in whatever way is most appropriate. It tends to facilitate the healing of emotional and spiritual issues which lead to physical issues. It is the emotional/spiritual issues that are usually behindthe physical illness that you have manifested.

As a client, you can receive a phase 1 or a phase 3 healing session, depending on the level of training the practitioner has attained. In phase 3, the practitioner is able to direct the energy to work on all of the subtle energy bodies in addition to the physical body. The healing power is amplified, bringing in the energy of Jesus, The Elohim, and the Violet Flame of St. Germaine.
